The Adaptor for use in the United States does not have the manufacturing defect and is safe to use, however, the UK, Australia and EU power plugs which were supplied with this wireless phone system have the reported defects. The same adaptor is shipped to all countries. There is one cord and power supply box, the various plug form factors snap on and off the power supply box. The US snap on adaptor is safe; the UK, Australian and EU adaptors had design and manufacturing defects.
