SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms at low concentrations and bioaccumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment. According to the REACH Regulation the phthalate DINP is prohibited in toys and childcare articles that can be placed in the mouth by children. The product does not comply with the Commission Regulation on persistent organic pollutants (POP Regulation).",
