Description
The recall concerns 2000 to 2002 model year vehicles, produced from 12 March 2000 to 18 December 2001, with VIN list from KMHD(*)41BP1U033251 to KMHD(*)41BP2U336251 [where (*)= M or N].
Risk
The product poses a risk of injuries because on the affected vehicles the Side Air Bag (SAB) module wiring may move freely, which could turn on the airbag light and set a diagnostic code. In such a case, the SAB would not expand in the case of a road accident, thus reducing the protection of the driver and the co-passenger.
