Description
Children’s cot "RADEK I" (baby crib)Type/model: Unknown.
Risk
The notified cot presents a risk of injury because space between the rungs is too wide (child can put leg or arm between the rungs). Moreover, side rungs of the cot are not fixed properly (they fall out) and in consequence there is a risk for child of falling out of the cot. There is a risk of suffocation because the element which connects a top rung and a leg of the cot sticks out and a baby pacifier’s chain can stick (seize).
Measures
  • Withdrawal from the market and recall form consumers ordered by authority. The manufacturer was obliged to change the construction of the cot in order to eliminate the risks
