Risk

Once the tube is pulled out, the bare electrical connections are easily accessible. In addition, the on-off switch is a push-fit version and can be removed without the use of tools, thus also exposing the bare electrical connections. There are two reported incidents of night lights catching a fire and causing damage to property.
