The product is corrosive and can therefore cause serious burns. However, the safety data sheet states that it can cause slight skin irritation after prolonged contact. The label contains the irritant symbol rather than the corrosive symbol, and the specific risk phrases are not shown.The pH test revealed levels (0.74 ± 0.08) that were significantly lower than the classification limits laid down for corrosive preparations (pH = 2). Precautionary seizure ordered by the authorities.
