Type / model
model Navara (D40)
Description
The recall concerns vehicles produced from 01 June 2005 to 03 July 2008 in Spain.
Risk
null The product poses a risk of injuries because there is a possibility that, in some cases, as a result of reduced fatigue resistance in the wheel spokes, a crack may occur due to high stress applied to the wheel through vehicle usage (driving with high gross vehicle weight & cornering at high acceleration). If left undetected and the vehicle continues to be driven, the crack may propagate around the hub and this could potentially lead to wheel detachment and, consequently, to a road accident.
