Description
The EBS tank allows domestic hot water to be stored. The water is heated either by a boiler which supplies the tank's exchanger (coil) or by an electrical resistor screwed on to the tank. The kits have neither a date code nor a serial number, and it is only their very particular visual appearance which allows them to be identified (grey plastic case with an A/m button and a reset button for the safety thermostat).
Risk
The product poses a risk of fire because of electrical overheating in the connectors.13 incidents reported.
