- The problem posed by these kits resulted from a translation error of the length of time, which should be 2 minutes than 8 minutes. Following the instructions the bowl containing the paraffin granules should be heated in a microwave oven at high power for 8 minutes while the contents of the bowl catches fire after 5 minutes of heating.
