- Plastic flashing toy soother with necklace. The packaging bears an incorrect graphic symbol for age with a mark of 0-12 and this inappropriate reference to age: “This item is a novelty not for children under 12 years old.”
- Risk
- The flashing pacifier is a gadget and not a toy but it could be mistaken for a genuine pacifier.During tension test specified in the standard EN 71-1:1998 small part became detached when applying a force less than 90 N and fitted entirely within the small parts cylinder. The toy does not bear the proper indication: „Warning! Not suitable for children under the age of 3 years. It contains small parts that can be easily inhaled and ingested.” This toy does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 71.
