The packaging is a cardboard box in dark blue with tiny white spots and pictures of Santa Claus in a sledge. There are printed instructions in Bulgarian with the name and address of the importer.
Risk
The product poses a risk of electric shock because: - the supply cord have only basic insulation, - the conductors of the supply cord have a cross-section area of less than 0.5 mm²,- the lighting chains are not marked with the maximum rated wattage, - information contained in the instructions for use inform the user that the lighting chains can be used in both closed and open areas, which is misleading as they are obviously intended for use in closed areas only. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
