Description
Plush toy – woofing puppy is made of light crème coloured plush. The height is 30 cm. On the head of the toy there is loop. There is a red sticker on one of the paws – while pressing, the sound of woofing is emitted. On the back of the toy there is a sewed zip, which can be opened with one move, and inside there is place for 2 batteries, without any covers. With the toy there is a cardboard tag with bar code and inscription in Polish “Plush mascots DEEF”. There is also a label made of fibres with following markings: CE mark; “Plush mascot – made in China” (in Polish). There is also a warning that the toy is not intended for children under 36 months old and about the risk of swallowing small parts. There is also an instruction of washing and keeping the toy.
Risk
This toy poses a serious risk of injuries and choking because:- the zip can be easily opened by a child playing with it; the child can easily reach the batteries;- there is no user’s manual for the electrical toy and no information about the voltage of the battery;- the marking that the toy is not intended for children under 36 month is improper, because this type of soft, stuffed toys with simple construction, which are used for carrying and cuddling, are treated as toys for children under 3 years old. This toy does not comply with the Toys Directive and with the relevant European standards EN 71-1 and EN 50088.
