- 2000W Fan heater, tough composite case with integral handle for carrying. Can be placed in a vertical or horizontal position. Two-position heat settings control two 1000 Watt heating elements. Full range, ambient room thermostat maintains temperature at pre-set level. Fan doubles as a cool air blower for use in the summer. Supplied with 13Amp non-rewirable ASTA approved plug.
- Risk
- The product poses a risk of fire due to possible contact between the insulated live terminal and the heater element enclosure during assembly. This could lead to a short circuit and overheating causing the plastic casing to melt and, in extreme cases, combust. Three incidents reported.
