Vehicles concerned are built between 2005 and 2007 with the following vehicle identification numbers:- JSAJTA44V00100031 to JSAJTA44V00251569, - JSAJTD44V00100054 to JSAJTD44V00252368.
Risk
The product poses a serious risk of fire even when the engine is switched off because vibration and other stresses can damage the intercooler, causing a leak. This leads to irregular combustion, which in turn can cause the diesel particulate filter to overheat, as a result of which the vehicle can catch fire.
