The recall affects motorcycles with serial numbers: 1. VN900B8F - JKAVN900BBA040137 to JKAVN900BBA042011, 2. VN900C8F - JKAVN900CCA021753 to JKAVN900CCA022028.
Risk
The product poses a risk of fire because, under certain riding conditions, fuel can leak from between the tank filler neck and the fuel cap gasket. Fuel leakage in the presence of a spark or flame could cause a fire. All fuel tanks have to be replaced on the affected motorcycles.
