- Nightlight with internal bulb protected by a transparent plastic case, direct mains plug and frontal on-off switch. The packaging is a blister pack with a transparent plastic front and a cardboard back marked inter-alia "Made in China, CE, 6A 250 50/60 Hz 3w, Ref 11865" and bar code.
- Risk
- The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the cover does not have sufficient mechanical strength and easily comes off exposing the bulb;- the fixing screws on the cover are neither captive nor of a special type requiring the use of a specific tool;- the insulation resistance is not sufficient;- the plastic is not sufficiently resistant to heat. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
