- The toy contains di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) (measured value: 23% by weight). This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The product also contains short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCP) (measured value: 0.25% by weight). SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms and bioaccumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment. According to the REACH Regulation the phthalate DEHP is prohibited in all toys and childcare articles.
