- The plug is oversized, and over time inserting and removing the plug could damage the socket, or the user may insert the plug of a different appliance into the socket, which may not connect properly, causing the plug to overheat and ignite, causing a fire. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standards EN 61347-1, EN 61347-2-13, and EN 60598-2-20, nor with standard EN 60598-1
