- Black powerbank, approximately 25 cm in length, with a solar panel, LCD display and four built-in charger cables and dual USB outputs. Product sold online, in particular via ovbutiken.se.
- Risk
- The solders in the product have an excessive concentration of lead (measured value up to 55.1% by weight). In addition, plastic material in the cables contain excessive concentrations of dibutyl phthalate (DBP) (measured value up to 3.85% by weight). The product also has an excessive concentration of short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) (measured value up to 0.8 % by weight).Lead poses a risk to the environment. DBP poses a risk to human health and the environment. SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms at low concentrations and bio-accumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment. Prolonged exposure to them through the skin may cause cancer. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS 2 Directive) nor with the Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP) Regulation.
