- Attachment for hand-held brush cutters for trimming and cutting lawn edges or other vegetation. The cutting attachment comprises two opposite chains that can be used for cutting when the chain links rotate at high speed. Product sold online, in particular via onbuy.com.
- Risk
- The bolts or rivets attaching the chains to the flail-cutter could break. The chains might consequently detach during use and hit the user causing injuries. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive nor with the Commission Decision 2012/32/EU prohibiting the placing on the market of flail-type cutting attachments for portable hand-held brush cutters.
