If the backrest is not locked in the upright position, there is an increased risk of injury to the occupant of the seat or any other person in the vehicle due to unsecured cargo. The product does not comply with the requirements laid down in the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
